Ewout Korpershoek has recently become Managing Director of Topcon Europe Positioning. Korpershoek joined Topcon in 1991 and since the de-merger of the company in 2005, has been the Director of Marketing and Sales for Topcon Europe Positioning BV. As per August the 1st, 2008, he has been promoted to Managing Director of the company.

Two years after its introduction, Topcon's GR-3 multi-constellation receiver has received its sixth international design recognition for its innovative product design. The latest award for the GR-3 was awarded in July by BusinessWeek magazine – the 2008 International Design Excellence Award (IDEA).

The A7 prism series supports the ability to mount a GPS receiver on top of the A7 prism for an integrated robotic and GPS rover solution. Additional accessories, including a regular top mount and a side-mounting option for the RC-3R, are now also available.
