Euromap GmbH Completes Delivery of IRS Ortho Products

Euromap GmbH, the exclusive supplier of Indian Remote Sensing (IRS) data in Europe, and the European Space Agency (ESA), responsible for the GMES data access as part of the GMES Space Component, announced that the delivery of ortho products and system corrected products from IRS P6 Resourcesat 1 data acquired during 2011 was completed recently.

Fugro announces PanGeo project

Fugro NPA Ltd of Edenbridge in Kent, UK announces its coordination of a new EC FP7 project entitled ‘PanGeo – Enabling Access to Geological Information in Support of Global Monitoring for Environment & Security’.  The project, worth approximately €3.5M with an EU contribution of approximately €2.5M, involves all 27 national Geological Surveys of the EU, plus a number of organisations specialising in satellite InSAR processing, novel visualisations, INSPIRE-compliant web-map serving, GIS and validation. The team’s work is overseen by several pan-European geological associations including EuroGeoSurveys and the European Federation of Geologists.
